The fifth Uswathunnabi International Academic Conference at Jamia Hamdard brought together more than thirty researchers to examine the ethics of reciprocity in the Prophet's journey and migration.

New Delhi: Dr. Besnik Sinani stated that prophetic diplomatic models offer permanent solutions to ongoing issues in the modern world and that international conflicts can only be ended through their establishment. He was speaking after inaugurating the fifth Uswathunnabi International Academic Conference held at Jamia Hamdard University, Delhi. The conference was organized under the theme of the Prophet’s journey and migration focusing on the ethics of reciprocity. He emphasized that the moral and diplomatic practices advanced by the Prophet in personal, social, and political spheres must be studied with greater precision and put into practice, while also pointing out that a reconsideration is needed regarding state representation in international forums like the United Nations. Over thirty researchers from national and international universities presented research papers at the conference, and a book compiling selected papers from the fourth and fifth editions of Uswathunnabi was released during the event.

The program commenced at nine in the morning, presided over by the Vice-Chancellor of Jamia Hamdard. SSF India Secretary Ahmed Shareen delivered the introductory speech, while Col. Tahir Mustafa, Registrar of Jamia Hamdard, and Dr. P.V. Zubair, Assistant Professor at Aligarh Muslim University, addressed the gathering. Various sessions were chaired by Dr. Mohammad Junaid, Dr. Ateequr Rahman, Dr. Mohammad Fazlur Rahman, Dr. Zubair P.M., Dr. Bilal Kutty, Dr. Safia Amir, Prof. Muhibbul Haq, and Dr. Nudrat Mueeni.

The conference was jointly organized by SSF India, Tübingen University of Germany, Jamia Hamdard of New Delhi, and Maulana Azad National Urdu University of Hyderabad.

The opening session concluded with a welcome speech by Dr. Abroo Aman Antrabi, Head of the Department of Islamic Studies at Jamia Hamdard, and a vote of thanks delivered by Dilshad Ahmed, General Secretary of SSF India.
