About the department
The Islamic Publishing Bureau (IPB) is a prominent publishing initiative under the SSF, dedicated to promoting reading, knowledge, and thoughtful engagement with contemporary issues. Its publications feature works by renowned national and international authors, scholars, and thinkers, covering a wide range of subjects including religion, society, politics, spirituality, environment, economy, culture, and literature.
SSF also publishes Risala in Malayalam and Ishara in Kannada as its weekly magazines, along with Risala Webzine in Urdu. Pravasi Risala serves as a dedicated publication for the Indian diaspora overseas. Through carefully curated themes, insightful articles, and diverse perspectives, these publications explore important dimensions of human life and society while encouraging reading, reflection, and informed engagement.
